GERARD DOMÈNECH

Born in Reus, he begins to do theater by accident at school. After failing academically he decided to study what he likes most, clown and mime.

He started with different street and family theater companies and founded the Co.Copi Rait.

Later he became part of companies like Co.Toni Albà, Co.Teatrapart and Tricicle.

Recruited for Clownic in 2011, they were looking for a tall handsome actor but had to settle with a tall actor. He is still touring with them today.

He has also worked in television programs like Buenafuente (Antena 3) or Societat Imitada (TV3). He also participates in several short films and different radio programs.

Fan of funky soul music, occasionally he escapes to demonstrate his skills as a “DJ” in some dark cavern.

EDU MÉNDEZ

Born in La Selva del Camp (The Jungle of the Countryside), he began to step on stage with the theater group Moixera.

Born a clown, he formed the group Tritotxos incorporating the street as his particular stage. He also created Co. CaMeMu “the best company of mimes award” (national concentration of mimes Miranda of Ebro).

During his early years as an actor, in this life of light and shadow, he was trained in different courses of interpretation, gesture, “commedia dell’arte” and clown.

Since he had firefighter ideas he did work as a fireman, but his vocation led him to join the Co. Clownic in the time of the dinosaurs.  He has been part of Clownic since its inception and still is there today.

During the course of these decades he has been performing, creating and elucubrating multiple tasks intended for the theater, with the only intention of making everyone laugh.

XEVI CASALS

From the town of Manlleu where he did theater as a hobby, he left and got a degree in physical theater at the Institute of Theater of Barcelona.

He formed different companies: XTV Teatre, Que passa?!, La Clau, CaMeMu, Extres… in cities like Barcelona, Castellón, Mallorca and Seville; all of them physical theater and intended primarily to make the audience laugh.

He has also worked with Comediants, Los-Los, Teatre Almeria, among others and for a few years now he has been a part of Tricicle’s second company, Clownic.

He has directed, created and produced several dance-theater plays and other physical theater experiments.

Itchy, he practices butoh dance, acrobatics and plays the guitar and the ukulele.
