TOMÁS
THE EXTRAORDINARY NORMAL GUY
Tomás, the extraordinary normal guy is a contemporary physical comedy that combines constant humor, humanity and a lucid look at everyday fragility. Wordless yet executed with great stage precision, the show builds an urban tragicomedy filled with recognizable situations that make audiences laugh, move them and leave a lasting impression.
Tomàs is an ordinary man who, after losing his job, becomes trapped in the routine of an apartment and a city that never stop.
Around him appears a gallery of characters: an omnipresent mother, a loyal friend, a violin-playing neighbor, a peculiar landlord, pigeons that observe and alter reality, and a succession of absurd jobs that lead nowhere. All these characters are performed by the three actors of the company, creating a rich and dynamic universe.
Through the language of contemporary clown and physical humor, Tomàs builds an urban tragicomedy full of absurd situations and precise gags, where comedy runs throughout the performance while coexisting with a tender and lucid view on loneliness, friendship and human fragility.
Without words, yet with great stage precision, the show creates a strong bond with the audience and leaves a clear emotional mark… and plenty of laughter.
